Nearly every day, I find myself using about $4-$5 worth of supplements from many different companies. To me they are like food. Everything in balance. I don't take the same supplements and I've been addicted to researching out the best, with the greatest reviews. The first one I ever tried was around the age of 21. The Ginkgo Bilboa herb helped my memory so much, I found myself dominating my complex finance class, and since then I never looked back in regards to overall health, herbs, supplements or anything that could give me a competitive advantage, make me smarter, or just give me a better overall experience in life. I easily spend $150 a month on supplements. It seems like a lot, but $5 a day is what it breaks down to, and that is about $18,000+. $15,000 breaks down to $4.10/day. So it's pretty accurate that I've spent that or more on supplements. Right now, I have a pool/shelf/library of at least 50 supplements. I take anywhere from 3-7 a day, depending if I remember or what I'm doing that day. I don't stick to one supplement on a daily basis, everything in balance. I hit omega 3-6-9 3-4 times a couple times a week, Vitamin D more in the winter, Focus supplements depending if I plan on digging into a book or any mental work, and more BCAA/ Protein/ Creatine if I plan on hitting the gym for lifting and basketball. These supplements pay for themselves, and I can't measure the price of prevention. Some I feel and notice within the hour, and some I don't ever notice (taking a Vitamin D supplement.) Either or, enjoy the reviews and recommendations! I will be adding more as I experiment more, so make sure to check back.
